how much time have you taken to do this coloring? have you used sketchpens / water colors?. are you comfortable using them?. the coloring effect is good and isuggest you use this medium for coloring. now color all hte freehand drawings you have done so far using this mediusm. use interesting color combinations. submit hte assignment by 9th jan 2009

Analyse and write down( in comments section) in point wise what you have understood from them. Submit your review by 4th October.

I could come to the conclusion that the application of colours wasn't very good(for my free hand image).And also that the lines aren't dark enough.

you got it correct. first improve n your freehand lines. they should be smooth flowing dark lines. we will come to the coloring part later. i will suggest what medium you need to use after i give you an assignment on the coloring.

for steadler pencils you can try them in any big stationery shop. these pencils are a little expensive.

you need to become comfortable using sketch pens. good lines can be acheived when you draw them swiftly. i have send you a set of assignments with instructions for daily practice. do them with sketch pen daily and you can see your skill getting improved day by day.

please ignore the latest assignment correction added to your blog. it was by mistake. i will update it in the evening.
regarding the coloring. try to color with sketchpens and submit the asisignment. you should be able to color with them as required. give it a try. alos it is not cumposlary that you have to color the drawing with steadler only. you can choose a medium that suits your style of color application.
